Darkest Dungeon 2 was officially announced on Red Hooks YouTube channel in February of 2020. We still don’t know much about the game 7 months later.
Red Hooks is playing their cards close to their chest on this one. What we know about the studio is they are a tight knit family that shares drinks together and are looking to expand their team of 14 up to about 20 so long as it makes sense. What we know about the game is it will have an early access model to get the game in fans hands sooner, that the story will be expanded on and that it will have it’s own creative thematic identity.
We also think we have some valuable nuggets. Above all, we are committed to crafting Darkest Dungeon 2 to be its own experience; it will have its own creative thematic identity.
