A lot of people were wondering, when is the next Nintendo Direct? The answer was this morning! The Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase was this morning and in it, we were given a look at some exciting games coming to the Nintendo Switch this fall.
The Nintendo Direct Mini had a lot of games to show off in its Partner Showcase including two new Monster Hunter games: Monster Hunter: Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2 which gave its own 15-minute showcase as the end of the Direct. Monster Hunter: Rise being the most exciting new entry into the franchise as it will allow a level of verticality that hasn’t ever been in the game before by giving the player a “wire bug”. The wire bug will allow players to scale cliffs and elevated platforms as well as supplement player’s combat styles by allowing you to use the wire bugs in a fight.
The other notable games that were announced on the Direct were below with the full release of Hades and Ori and the Will of the Wisps being at the top of my personal list of recommendations.
