Undertale 5th Anniversary Concert and Deltarune status update released

The Undertale 5th Anniversary concert is tonight and Toby fox has also given us a status update regarding the future of Deltarune.

The first chapter of Deltarune left us with a lot of unanswered questions, especially those regarding the future chapters of the game, but today the creator of Deltarune and Undertale Toby Fox gave us a TON of answers regarding the development of the game and where it’s going in the future.

This however is just the tip of the iceberg as it’s Undertale’s 5th anniversary and on September 15th at 7:15pm Mountain time there will be a special live-streamed concert to commemorate the game.

The live stream can be found here:

Here are some of the notable updates about Deltarune that were posted. The whole post can be found here.

  • Deltarune is a game that will be released in many chapters, the first being released on Halloween in 2018.
  • The game is still being developed in GameMaker Studio.
  • The game has a lot more going into it than the original Undertale game, however, Toby has a team helping him.
  • Significant milestones have been completed in the game’s design, this includes dialogue, cut scenes, and music.
  • Once chapter 2 is finished he wants to use it as a base for how all future chapters are created.
  • Toby and his team are looking for people wanting to join their team to make the game a reality.

If the rest of the game’s chapters are anything like Undertale or the first chapter of Deltarune. Then I can safely say that the wait will be well worth it.
