3D Clouds released the first King of Seas gameplay trailer and screenshots for International Talk Like a Pirate Day
The gameplay trailer which can be seen below shows off the awesome looking top-down style gameplay that will have you swashbuckling your way victory. the trailer shows off all kinds of things you should expect when playing the gaming including story-based interactions, combat, and the customization of ships (sign me up the red octopus/Kraken ship). The game itself features a stunning procedurally generated world so every time you start a new campaign you will have a whole new world to explore. This will hopefully make the replayability of the game very high.
The ship in the game is also much more than just a ship as you will be able to collect over 900 items to customize and truly make it your own. There are also 5 different kinds of ships you will be able to play as including the sloop, brig, flute, frigate, and galleon. Expect there to be much more than just typical canon fire in the game as you will be able to pick up other exciting weapons for your ships like flamethrowers and voodoo rituals.
