It came from shame, It came from helplessness, it came from rage in this new trailer for The Medium from Bloober Team

It must be that time of the year, either that or I am over the events of September and I’m ready to move on to bigger and better things in October, like Halloween. Scary games this time of the year are always a welcome sight.

Last May we were presented with a trailer for a new game from Bloober Team who made Layers of Fear and the Blair Witch called The Medium. In this new trailer, we are shown the antagonist known as ‘The Maw’ (voiced by Troy Baker), a supernatural entity that we can only guess doesn’t want to do nice things.

Thematically the game looks really interesting and almost has a Silent Hill-esque style. In the trailer you’ll see Mary Ann shift from being what we can only assume is the real world, into a grotesque alternate reality where she interacts with the horrific vision of a little girl who is trying to tell her about ‘The Maw’.
